Equipped with the right applications, a computer can be of great help in virtually any domain of activity. When it comes to designing and precision, no other tool is as accurate as a computer. Moreover, specialized applications such as AutoCAD give you the possibility to design nearly anything ranging from art, to complex mechanical parts or even buildings.
Suitable for business environments and experienced users
After a decent amount of time spent installing the application on your system, you are ready to fire it up. Thanks to the office suite like interface, all of its features are cleverly organized in categories. At a first look, it looks easy enough to use, but the abundance of features it comes equipped with leaves room for second thoughts.
Create 2D and 3D objects
You can make use of basic geometrical shapes to define your objects, as well as draw custom ones. Needless to say that you can take advantage of a multitude of tools that aim to enhance precision. A grid can be enabled so that you can easily snap elements, as well as adding anchor points to fully customize shapes.
With a little imagination and patience on your behalf, nearly anything can be achieved. Available tools allow you to create 3D objects from scratch and have them fully enhanced with high-quality textures. A powerful navigation pane is put at your disposal so that you can carefully position the camera to get a clearer view of the area of interest.
Various export possibilities
Similar to a modern web browser, each project is displayed in its own tab. This comes in handy, especially for comparison views. Moreover, layouts and layers also play important roles, as it makes objects handling a little easier.
Sine the application is not the easiest to carry around, requiring a slightly sophisticated machine to properly run, there are several export options put at your disposal so that the projects itself can be moved around.
Aside from the application specific format, you can save as an image file of multiple types, PDF, FBX and a few more. Additionally, it can be sent via email, directly printed out on a sheet of paper, or even sent to a 3D printing service, if available.
To end with
All in all, AutoCAD remains one of the top applications used by professionals to achieve great precision with projects of nearly any type. It encourages usage with incredible offers for student licenses so you get acquainted with its abundance of features early on. A lot can be said about what it can and can't do, but the true surprise lies in discovering it step-by-step.

AutoCAD 21.0 Download [32|64bit] [Latest-2022]
The second version of AutoCAD, version 2.0, was introduced in February 1985. The program featured improved ergonomics and some new features, such as dynamic drawing capability, multi-layer sheet-based models, and three-dimensional (3D) editing. Version 2.1 added new commands and capabilities. In the mid-1990s, version 3.0 added a document manager and a more graphical user interface (GUI) to the application. This allowed a user to open two drawing files at once and concurrently edit them from within AutoCAD.
Several versions were released in the 1990s: AutoCAD 4.0 in January 1992, AutoCAD Plus 4.0 in August 1992, AutoCAD Graphics 4.0 in December 1992, AutoCAD Deluxe 4.0 in February 1995, and AutoCAD LT 4.0 in July 1998. Version 5.0 was released in May 2002. In 2007, version 6.0 was released for both the Windows and Linux operating systems. In 2010, AutoCAD 2009 for Windows and MacOS was released and in 2012 version 2013 was released. In 2014, AutoCAD 2014 for Windows and MacOS and AutoCAD LT 2014 for Windows and Linux operating systems were released. AutoCAD 2016 for Windows and MacOS was released in 2017. AutoCAD LT 2017 for Windows and Linux operating systems was released in 2018. AutoCAD 2018 for Windows and MacOS was released in 2019.
In 2007, AutoCAD was released for mobile devices through the introduction of AutoCAD Mobile Apps for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices. AutoCAD 2011 for Windows Mobile was released for Windows Mobile devices. In 2010, AutoCAD 2012 for Windows Mobile was released. In 2012, AutoCAD 2013 for Windows Mobile was released. In 2014, AutoCAD 2014 for Windows Mobile was released. In 2014, AutoCAD 2015 for Windows Mobile was released. In 2015, AutoCAD 2016 for Windows Mobile was released. In 2016, AutoCAD 2017 for Windows Mobile was released. In 2017, AutoCAD 2018 for Windows Mobile was released. In 2018, AutoCAD 2019 for Windows Mobile was released.
In 2015, a cloud-based AutoCAD subscription service was released as AutoCAD 2015 Cloud. AutoCAD 2016 Cloud was released in 2016. In 2017, AutoCAD 2017 Cloud was released. In 2018, AutoCAD 2019 Cloud was released. AutoC

The original AutoCAD program had several C API interfaces that could be called via the programming language of choice. The interfaces in question, at the time, included:
COM; this allowed a C-based application to dynamically load itself into AutoCAD and use AutoCAD’s facilities, such as tools, to achieve specific results. The use of COM in AutoCAD was deprecated in AutoCAD 2009, but still available as of AutoCAD 2016.
DLLs; this allowed AutoCAD’s facilities to be exposed to other software, which could use AutoCAD directly. For example, a map program could use the map tool in AutoCAD and thus map out the blocks of a drawing directly.
VBA; VBA interfaces are still available in AutoCAD 2009, although they are not deprecated, and are recommended for custom extensions and macros. AutoCAD can still be extended with AutoLISP and Visual LISP code. The file manager can be extended using VBA.
EXE; This allowed third-party developers to create their own AutoCAD extensions, usually standalone add-on products, for AutoCAD. The interface exposed data that could be read and written to via the AutoCAD’s proprietary Drawing Template format. There are several examples of this, as of 2019, some of which support only AutoCAD 2013 or later.
Starting with AutoCAD 2013, the interfaces listed above are deprecated. Autodesk offers a programming interface, including an API, for extending AutoCAD functionality.

Let’s get started!
In this video series, you’ll learn what’s new in AutoCAD for AutoCAD 2020.
I use AutoCAD 2023 to create graphics for business cards, brochures, and social media. In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to work with colors and shapes in AutoCAD.
One of the coolest features of AutoCAD is how it allows you to work with color to create amazing graphics. Color allows you to create text, use gradients and style shapes, and even create animations and more.
To use color in AutoCAD, you need to open the Color Picker and then drag and drop colors into the drawing. There are two steps to using color:
Define color with RGB, HSL, and CMYK values (video: 1:45 min.)
Apply a color (video: 1:53 min.)
We’ll start with the steps to define colors.
Step 1: Define Color
To define a color in AutoCAD, you need to open the Color Picker. Click anywhere on the screen to open the Color Picker.
Select the RGB or CMYK color option and click OK.
The RGB color option is shown on the left side, and the CMYK color option is shown on the
